List of Some Well-Known Crypto Projects
Here's a list of some of the crypto projects for which we decided to initially provide some basic background information. You should use the information on these pages purely as a starting point for proper research and due diligence, not as your sole source of information about any particular project. Legal disclaimer: We do not recommend that you invest in any of the particular cryptoassets listed here, simply because we do not advise people to invest in any particular cryptoassets.
There was no real set of rules to determine which projects we started to feature here. Some are probably great projects, and some are scams. We started by picking almost all of the top thirty by market cap (in late 2017), and since then have slowly been adding more by focusing on projects which are starting to receive more attention on social media.
There are lots of projects that become well-known since 2019 that are NOT on this list yet. Someday, we will add them. And more than a handful of the projects here are now dead, for various reasons, although we haven't yet updated the pages for all of them. For now, consider some of the dinosaurs listed here to be an interesting historical perspective from the pre-Covid days, and a reminder of how fast things can move in crypto.
