Steem (STEEM)
Steem is used in a social rewards system, and uses a "proof of brain" concept. It enables tokens to be distributed by "upvote" and "like"-based algorithms and can be integrated with websites to align incentives between application owners and community members to spur growth. Steem was created in 2016, and as of early 2018, was successfully processing more transactions than either Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Steem, as noted above, used a Proof of Brain system.

We currently have no information about the development team. However, their main website does have some great resources for developers who want to integrate Steem into other websites.
